EA Ends Origin's On the House Promotion

EA's On the House Promotion provided Origin users on PC, regardless of their subscription model, 1 free game per month from EA's library. This included titles such as Dead Space and Mass Effect but now the promotion has ended according to Polygon.

The system was put into place to help Origin compete with Valve's Steam platform. However, with Origin Access Premier launching this July 30th EA is ending the promotion. This is most likely to encourage gamers to subscribe to the new model.
