Fortnite State of Development Explains Future Updates Coming to Fortnite

Expect new changes in the future for Epic's Fortnite

Those millions of players still logging into the calamity that is Fortnite will be happy to hear that Epic has a lot of new updates coming soon. With the State of Development for August 2018 explaining that changes are coming to ensure a stable experience.

Future updates are looking into allowing players to matchmake into matches with players using similar peripherals such as controllers or mouse and keyboard. In addition, developers are looking into altering damage with weapons, equip time, and much more.

Epic is also looking into stabilizing the Android version of the game.

We launched our Android Beta for Fortnite last week and we know it wasn’t the smoothest experience. We’re digging into the issues being reported by players on a variety of Android devices, and are working to resolve them. The main areas to address first will be stability and performance. Fortnite is now available in early access for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
