It's been years since the PS4 released so it's not strange to find out older PS3 games are losing online functions. Sony has confirmed that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Twisted Metal, and Warhawk will lost online functionality this October 25th.
This means that all multiplayer options and trophies related to online multiplayer will be disabled. The campaign and local matchmaking will still work but you won't be able to host or join online matches.
Warhawk being mostly an online experience will suffer greatly but gamers can still play using LAN multiplayer. It's likely we'll see more of these shutdowns.
