4A Games’ third entry in the Metro series, Metro Exodus, is getting a new free update that adds a few new features and updates to the game, which came out last month on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC. On the top of the list is New Game+, which as the name suggests, allows you to bring back all of your upgrades, from weapons to attachments into new playthroughs once you finish Metro Exodus for the first time. It also includes smaller tweaks to the game based on player feedback, like balance and performance changes.
There’s also a new Developer Commentary feature that hides away special audio tapes containing all sorts of chats between the devs from the team, giving more details into the making of the game.
Along with those new features comes the option to create Controller Presets, allowing you to have a more customized control scheme by tweaking sensitivity and dead zones for whatever input device you’re using. If you’re a fan of mouse and keyboard controls, you’ll be glad to know that this update also adds support to those on Xbox One, and if you’ve been having issues playing the game on PC, there’s further improved RTX and DLSS performance, as well the option to use the DualShock Light Controller for fans dabbling in on PS4.
