Far Cry 5 is the Best Selling Ubisoft Game of this Console Generation

Far Cry 5 got a lot of critical acclaim when it released, and that translated into sales. With Ubisoft confirming that Far Cry 5 was the best selling game this generation for the company.

The news was made public during an earnings call that stated the game's "strong" performance grew the franchise as a whole.

Far Cry 5 is the latest major installment in the series, with the recent installment being its sequel Far Cry: New Dawn. Far Cry 5 focuses on taking down Joseph Seed, a leader of a cult called Eden's Gate that has taken the region of Hope County by force. Enforcing their own brand of religious justice in preparation for a prophesized calamity.

Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
