Battlefield 5 is Getting One Last Content Update

Battlefield 5 has had a rough experience compared to Battlefield 1. The game was surrounded by controversies such as gender politics and EA's poor marketing of the title but over time the game still maintained a healthy community. Now the game has reached its end with the final set of updates starting April 29th.

Called "Into the Jungle" this update will launch this April 29th and the last update coming this summer. The final update does not have a set release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic and EA's new work from home policy limiting communication between team members.

There are no hints of what this package will include and rumors have recent job listings have hinted that Battlefield 6 is now in development. Perhaps EA could do a better job of marketing the next game and not attack their fanbase.

Battlefield 5 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
