Unexpectedly, Call of Duty received a fresh update today. Here are a couple of unexpected changes, actually. One that is associated with Warzone and Black Ops 7 directly. As a matter of fact, everyone has been granted early access to some stuff because they made a mistake late yesterday. On the subject of Modern Warfare, we also learned something new, which was unexpected.

At this very moment, it appears like discussing Modern Warfare is an absolute must. People have mentioned it again and again: the Modern Warfare 4 marketing campaign will launch earlier than ever before. Something new has been occurring with the Modern Warfare brand seemingly every week as of late. Later this month, in around 10 days, Modern Warfare 2019 will return.

Naturally, we recently had the full Steam revival, during which it was on sale for a ridiculously low price.

It was only $5 on Steam, and it re-engaged a large number of people. Forty, fifty, or sixty thousand people were playing it on Steam for a week or more while it was on sale, which brought Modern Warfare back into the limelight. "Is this Modern Warfare advertising?" was the common refrain. What the fuck is happening? It was reported earlier today that Modern Warfare 2019 will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on April 17th.

You'll also be able to access that on Game Pass Premium, Game Pass PC, and Game Pass Ultimate. For those who have an Xbox or PC and are members of Game Pass, Modern Warfare 2019 is now available at no extra cost. This is sure to entice even more players to return to the game. Surprisingly, we only recently noticed the update when Modern Warfare 2019 received an unexpected title update.

Some files that were data-mined to determine the actual changes made by the update revealed the addition of game pass features, as well as several changes to Ubisoft Plus and the cloud subscription system. Because of how conveniently and coincidentally everything is happening in Modern Warfare, it is hard to believe that this isn't an advertising ploy to capitalize on fans' fond memories of the series and draw new ones to this installment.

Disappointingly, Modern Warfare 2. Of course, the initial premise of all the leaks and speculations that have circulated over the past few months was that MW4 would be a carbon copy of MW2. Naturally, that caused a great deal of backlash. Following COD's announcement, leakers such as Reality UK and Ghost of Hope were silenced for claiming that MW4 will be similar to MW2.

Plus, they're currently making a strong case for MW 2019. According to recent reports and leaks, Modern Warfare 4's gameplay may resemble that of Modern Warfare 2019 and Modern Warfare 3. This is all part of a larger plan to redirect attention to the original Modern Warfare gameplay style, which, with any luck, Modern Warfare 4 will grow upon rather than abandon, as MW2 went in a whole other way for no apparent reason.

However, there is some intriguing news surrounding MW 2019.

Though that isn't everything. Over the past day, we've seen a number of fresh posts and updates from Call of Duty. To kick off the week, we were perusing the troll boards in an effort to get a sneak peek at some planned upgrades; today, they've added even more, and they've even confirmed that a few will be repaired soon.

As you can see, they made this adjustment literally overnight. The VS Recon's inadvertent restriction in ranked search and destroy is now going to be fixed. Their actual rationale for removing the Deadeye Drone from multiplayer was that it did not take damage and provided too much score each elimination; they have a remedy planned for this.

Once it is completely updated and corrected, they will be implementing some balancing that will make it easier to take out the Deadeye Drone and reduce its score. They've also included some new concerns related to zombies that they're investigating. Here, Klaus is ignoring orders. Therefore, they are investigating that. Mystery boxes, wall buys, chompy, and dropping weapons when the mule kick is active can also deplete a weapon's pack-a-punch tier and rarity.

If you're playing as a class with a mule kick equipped, you can find that your guns are completely disabled during zombie gameplay. Now that we know officially, the vs recon and the Deadeye Drone will likely get some updates this week. They did mention that this week was the objective for reintroducing the Deadeye Drone.

As we continue to see how the rest of the week unfolds, we will need to be vigilant for any unexpected patch notes that may be released later today, tomorrow, or Thursday. So, the new Lost Outpost event has arrived. It was meant to launch this Thursday, but yesterday, they dropped a package that contained the Strider 300 sniper rifle by accident.

You may buy the bundle and get the weapon early if you want to.

Therefore, they chose to shock us by releasing this update early today. The Lost Outpost event has recently gone live. It will continue till the anticipated conclusion date. Now, technically, we have an additional two days to complete the tasks and collect the rewards. They want you to locate beacons, though, so you can finish the event.

Gain beacons by destroying enemies in any game mode, finding and opening Warzone loot caches, or finishing ranked play matches. Send supplies to the outpost using beacons. A higher prize is yours for using more beacons. Repairing the outpost is the next step. To get the worldwide animation terminal camo, you have to summon all the care package reinforcements.

This makes it crystal clear that there are various beacon tiers, each with its own set of benefits. Obtain a brand-new, sizable decal. A new animated insignia, a sticker for your weapon, double experience for your weapon itself, and double experience for your base rank are all possible outcomes. A new charm becomes available when you reach the ten-beacon threshold.

Along with that, you'll receive a fresh calling card, a revamped loading screen, additional double weapon experience, and two distinct tokens. Along with it, you receive double experience in the base and double experience in combat passes. After you've accumulated 20 beacons, you'll be able to unlock the new Strider 300.

You don't need to purchase the bundle if you choose to earn this way, naturally, without spending a dime. However, a fresh Vandal blueprint for the Akita is also yours to keep. The camo pattern has also been updated. This is merely a wave. It resembles a light grayish-blue floating camouflage pattern. Pretty good. An animated camouflage.

Another addition is the Southpaw operator skin.

Next, we have a brand-new token for the battle pass. A handful of those, some additional base double experience, and some additional double weapon experience. By following all of those steps, you may achieve this terminal camo, which is visually appealing.

With the raindrop effect, that camouflage is really neat and tidy. Everyone can now participate in this event, and it will conclude in exactly sixteen days. If you want to earn any of those incentives, you can take advantage of this opportunity, which is open for a few weeks, to the fullest extent.

It doesn't matter if you're in multiplayer, zombies, warzone, co-op, or endgame mode; you can still finish it. It's irrelevant. This content can still be earned. Quite unexpectedly, a brand new weapon is now available through the event or, as an alternative, the store bundle, a bit sooner than originally planned.
