Code Vein's third behind the scenes video is now here. Highlighting how the developers decided on the visual style of the game.

Producer Keita Iizuka opened the video discussing how the developers wanted to maintain a quality look that complemented the character designs. Director Hiroshi Yoshimura chimed in and stated the development team put photorealistic characters into the game and played with them, finding out it didn't work well.
Instead, the team decided on combining anime-like designs with photorealism. Kurumi Kobayashi who works on character design explained how the post-apocalyptic look was always the central focus.
Other developers continue to expand on how the world of Code Vein was built.
Code Vein launches this September 27th for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. I had the chance to play it at E3 2019. Stating that I had to "take each encounter seriously and if you want that added challenge, going it alone is always an option."
