It seems that we don't have to wait very long for Minecraft's next major update. Mojang, the developer of the cubic crafting game, recently released a last-minute summary about all the changes and bug fixes that are coming with the pre-release build of Trails and Tales. This means that, for the time being, players will be able to experience all that is coming in the next update in its beta form. It also means that the full release is just around the corner.
For those of you who simply can't wait to get their hands on all the content that's coming in the next major update, you will be given a chance to play a pre-release candidate build. These builds will include most things coming to Trails and Tales, including Sniffers, Camels, and the Cherry Blossom Biome, as well as a myriad of other features and items that are coming to Minecraft. With all this new and exciting content, it's no wonder why so many players are simply itching to play the new update.
Mojang has confirmed that Trails and Tales will be releasing on all major platforms in the form of its pre-release build. Luckily for players of the Java Edition, they already had access to this experimental build earlier than other players. Even though the pre-release candidate build contains most of the content that will be added, there are still a few bugs that Mojang still needs to iron out, they have kindly asked that players playing on the pre-release candidate build should report any bugs and glitches that they encounter, so that they can quickly patch them before the full version becomes available.
It does seem that Mojang is taking the big squashing very seriously, as they are repairing not just bugs related to Trails and Tales but also nearly decade-old bugs that have been plaguing the game for years. Mojang seems to be ensuring that this next major update is as polished as possible, and it's rumored that most of the major content shown in the initial snapshot is finished and already ready for release.
While we don't know how long Update 1.20 will stay in its pre-release state, we can likely expect to be able to play the full version of Trails and Tales in a few weeks, as has been the case with previous updates. However, it should be noted that players who still use old legacy Minecraft accounts should migrate their Mojang information to their Microsoft account if they want to continue using them.
