There's a lot of news going around in the Pokémon universe, and you're at the right place if you're reading this. There have been a lot of leaks about Pokémon Legends: Z-A lately, and there's a lot to learn. We will walk you down from "A To Z". New events, game updates, and fresh character info have all dropped.
So, if you're a fan counting down the days until Pokémon Legends: Z-A hits, stay reading till the end. First up, let's talk about some new Pokémon events that are about to start. In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, a new event will kick off on October 3.

An insider tweeted that the next seven-star raid battles are on the way, featuring Roaring Moon with the Dragon Tera type in Scarlet and Iron Valiant with the Fairy Tera type in Violet. These events run from October 3 at midnight UTC through October 12 at 23:59 UTC.
This likely won't be the last event for Scarlet and Violet, but it will be the final one before Pokémon Legends: Z-A drops. From this point on, most of you will probably be focused on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, though there's always a chance of smaller events like shiny Koraidon or Miraidon raids popping up.
Over in Pokémon Masters EX, there's also a new update.
A new event is bringing Perrin and Hisuian Growlithe, Arezu and Hisuian Lilligant, and Mai and Munchlax into the game, starting September 30, 2025. Pokémon Unite players aren't left out either, as Mega Lucario has been added as a new playable Unite license. This update was brought forward by a couple of weeks, ahead of its originally planned release. Mega Charizard X is slated to arrive at a later date.
The Pokémon team is making sure you have plenty of new content to enjoy leading up to the big Z-A release. Speaking of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, leaks for this game are heating up more than ever. Last week, we were already hearing rumors that the game was in the wild, and now there's confirmation that Pokémon Legends: Z-A could drop online any day.
The game has been spotted in the U.S. as of September 27, and inventory is confirmed to be sitting in warehouses. That means warehouse employees could potentially access the game, and shipments to individual stores are expected soon. Once it hits retail shelves, you can expect to see more leaks.
Early images are expected to show boxes full of the game, followed by photos of sealed and opened copies. Then, early gameplay screenshots will likely surface on sites like 4chan and Discord. After that, expect eBay listings from sellers attempting to get the game into eager hands early, followed by game files and data mines as the leaks continue to roll in.
How fast all of this happens depends on the people who get the game first. There's also the legal risk involved, so not everyone will want to post content online.

Since the formal release is just 17 days away, the timing couldn't be more important. Pokémon fans are used to this kind of thing; recent games like Scarlet and Violet had similar leak schedules. It's really bad that these leaks came out before the official release, but that's just how it is in 2025.
Character leaks for Pokémon Legends: Z-A are giving fans plenty to talk about.
We have detailed looks at several major characters and a few corrections to previous leaks. Returning from Pokémon X and Y, Sycamore is set to provide players with a package containing the Kanto starters. This clears up some confusion about how players would access these starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It's likely that you choose one first, while other characters in the room get the remaining starters.
The rest are probably obtainable post-game. A letter inside the package confirms Sycamore's connection to the main character. Jacinthe is a new character not yet introduced, but the leaked artwork gives us a solid idea of her in-game appearance.
She has light purple hair, feathers on her dress, and a keystone in her hair, and she uses Mega Dragonite in a Battle Chateau-inspired promotion tournament within the Z-A Royale. This tournament brings together players and NPCs with Mega Evolutions for special matches.
Jacinthe's Maid, another character, was previously described as very muscular, but the latest information suggests she's anything but. She has long green hair that reaches her shoes and a keystone in her bow tie, and she uses Mega Dragon.
Tarragon is described as an older man with a long white beard who manages buildings in Lumio City and runs the Quiz Wiz. He wears a tattered brown jumpsuit, a hard helmet with yellow and blue accents, and gray boots and gloves, and he uses Mega Excadrill in promotion matches.
Canari, a character expected to be a fan favorite, is ranked F in the ZA Royale, placing her quite far into the game. She has blue hair with yellow highlights, a black face mask, a yellow cropped hoodie, black and blue cargo pants, and large white platform sneakers. Her keystone is on her chest, slightly lower than Emma's. She has poor posture, speaks in gamer jargon, and uses Mega Electros.

Fallinks Trainer, initially misgendered as female, is actually male and participates in the Justice Dojo promotion match. He has long, spiky blonde hair, a mask of Fallinks on his back, and Shogun-style pants, and he uses Mega Fallinks.
Lysandre appears relatively early in the game, at Hotel Z. He is blind in one eye, gives the Zygarde cube, and can communicate telepathically with Zygarde. Players have to defeat him in battle to catch Zygarde.
Other characters include Xerosic, who runs a food truck with Team Flare grunts; Emma, who is a goth baddie and participates in Jacinthe's tournament; and a Mega Hawlucha user in the Justice Dojo promotion match.
For Pokémon fans, the combination of leaks, character reveals, and upcoming events makes this an exciting time.
There's a lot to look forward to, from picking up Kanto starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A to participating in tournaments with Mega-Evolved Pokémon. The game's soon-to-come release means we'll soon see these characters and events come to life.
With only a couple of weeks until Pokémon Legends: Z-A officially drops, you couldn't be more gassed. Leaks and pre-release information have given us a glimpse of what's to come. From major characters like Lysandre and Canari to returning favorites like Sycamore, and from event updates in Scarlet and Violet to new additions in Masters EX and Unite, there's just too much to keep up with, so this short summary will do you good.

Which Pokémon Legends: Z-A character are you most looking forward to meeting? It's definitely Lysandre for me; watching him in action and feeling his telepathic link with Zygarde is going to be awesome. It seems like Canari is likewise ready to take center stage.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A promises to be full of unforgettable moments, and official event announcements have set the scene for what may be the most talked-about Pokémon launch in years. Based on everything we've seen so far, one thing is for sure: "Pokémon, gotta catch ‘em all."
