New information regarding Splatoon Raiders reveals the long-awaited spin-off game is almost ready. Nintendo may be preparing a big revelation. The updated European eShop listing includes the PEGI 7 age rating for the game. This is a significant update that usually signifies the game is almost done.

Nintendo secretly implemented the update, replacing the "TBD" label that was displayed until April 1. One faithful fan spotted the shift on social media. The analysis of previous web data confirmed that this is indeed a new feature, not some temporary stand-in.

While the official PEGI website doesn't yet show this rating, Nintendo's listing does, which hints at internal advancement.

Ratings are typically assigned when a game's core elements are complete and ready for the classification board's review. Given that Splatoon Raiders is nearing completion, an official release date announcement should be forthcoming. Nintendo likely has a plan for sharing this update, unless it is a unique technical glitch.

Nintendo surprised fans with Splatoon Raiders, a spin-off from one of its most popular games. Since its initial announcement in both reveals and social media posts last year, the game has nearly disappeared from the headlines.Silence has piqued my interest. Fans have been curious about how to play, how the game would be structured, and how it will vary from Splatoon.

Nintendo is set to break the silence in a big way now that it has included an age rating. The industry is also thinking about a summer debut. A report on a corporate forum said that the game could come out then, which would be excellent for the colorful Splatoon series. Most people think that nintendo direct is the best stage.

The timing seems to make sense from a strategic standpoint.

Now that April is over, Nintendo might use a presentation in late May or early June to discuss the Switch 2's games for the middle to end of the year.Nintendo has released titles for both the original Switch and its successor all year. A Direct presentation bringing together all of the company's declarations could boost momentum in the second half of 2026.

Fans debate when the next Direct will air, but many believe Nintendo is preparing for a larger, fuller show. Many initiatives are underway or have been completed, raising expectations. Besides Splatoon Raiders, Nintendo's release schedule may include several large games. A few new games are on the horizon, such as a fresh Star Fox, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, and Ocarina of Time.

Support from other companies is key. Capcom, for instance, is lending a hand with Resident Evil, Monster Hunter Stories, and Pragmata. New games like FromSoftware's "The Duskbloods" expand the selection. If several titles are released simultaneously, the Nintendo Switch 2 may gain strength in a competitive market in the second half of the year.

Even with relatively little material shown, Splatoon Raiders has generated interest. People demand greater, better spin-offs than smaller growth.Splatoon has always had amazing side content, such as the beloved Octo Expansion, and more downloadable content for Splatoon 3. Due to these games' high standards, many believe a spin-off could be better.

Now fans must wait, although it doesn't look like they'll have long. As speculations swirl and a grade is given, an update may soon reveal when players may start Nintendo's next colorful journey.
