People who like Assassin's Creed will be excited about the new changes. Ubisoft put out a big brand update that made games faster, confirmed new projects, and gave fans a look into the long-running series' future. A long-awaited patch for Assassin's Creed Unity makes it run faster at 60 frames per second.

This is one of the most important changes right now. The update will make gameplay much better on consoles and take players back to 18th-century Paris, with Arno's parkour. In other news, Ubisoft revealed that Assassin's Creed Black Flag will also be remade, which is another project fans are looking forward to.

People remember that when Assassin's Creed Unity launched in 2014, it had many technical issues.

This makes the speed patch even more important. At the time, the launch was seen as a botched tech job that made people dislike the brand. It had a lot of great ideas and a beautiful recreation of Paris during the French Revolution, but bugs and slowdowns made it less fun to play.

At a time when Assassin's Creed games came out almost every year, the game got off to a rough start. They are both Assassin's Creed games released in 2014. This made many people think the show was coming out too quickly. As the show went on, there wasn't much time between episodes, and even die-hard fans got tired of it.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate came out the next year, but it didn't do very well in the stores. A lot of people think that how Unity was accepted played a part in that outcome, since players were still getting over how badly they thought it worked technically.

But Unity has had something of a "redemption arc" in the community over the years. Plenty of players now say that even though there were some technical problems, it was still a great Assassin's Creed game with some of the best parkour and city planning in the series. Because of this, many people in the community have told others to go back and try the game again.

We can finally go back to the streets of Paris now that the new 60 FPS patch is out.

The update not only speeds up the game but also changes how it looks, so the pictures are not getting better. Instead, the change is mostly meant to improve how well the game works. It should feel a lot quicker to do parkour, fight, and explore now.

There isn't a big change in the graphics, but the game runs much faster on current computers, which makes it feel much better. People with an Xbox will also be able to start reading the story again. Xbox Free Play Days are from April 2 to April 6. During these days, some Assassin's Creed games will be free to play for a short time.

This was confirmed by Ubisoft. People can play Assassin's Creed Unity, which runs faster, and look at other games in the series during that time without having to buy anything right away. However, you can buy the game right now in digital shops.

Even though the game has been on sale for less in the past, the PlayStation Store still has it for $10.79, which is a pretty good deal. Putting the sale and speed update together at the same time seems like a plan to get people to play the game again or for the first time.

The game is already in your library if you have PlayStation Plus Extra, so it will be easy to start playing when the change comes out.

A lot more than just the Unity update was talked about by Ubisoft. They also discussed what would happen to the Assassin's Creed games in the future. To move the brand forward, the company just hired a new leadership team. The most recent report discusses some projects that are still in progress.

One of the most interesting is Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe. It is being developed at Ubisoft Montreal by a group of skilled programmers. The project is still pretty new, but it's meant to make Assassin's Creed darker and more story-driven, taking place at a very important time in history.

There are early signs that Hexe may be different from the most recent games in the series. It's possible the game won't have big, open worlds meant to keep people excited and coming back for more. Instead, it might lean toward a more focused experience, with the story taking center stage. Many fans have asked for the series to return to a simpler form, so an Assassin's Creed that isn't as complex could be fun.

A PvP multiplayer game called Code Name Invictus is also being worked on right now. It takes place in the world of Assassin's Creed. People who are writing the game have worked on For Honor before, so they know how to make games with a large player base. Ubisoft has stated that the multiplayer mode in this game is different from that of other games in the series.

They have also said that there is a lot of interest in it. The people making it also want to hear what the community has to say early on so the final product is more in line with what people want.

Besides these projects, Ubisoft also said that Assassin's Creed Jade and several other games are in different stages of development.

The company also said it is considering bringing back cooperative gameplay, which many people liked in older games like Unity. There was a time when Ubisoft had an early project that they said would change the way they make games in the future. However, they have since scrapped that project.

For many longtime fans, the most exciting news is probably that Assassin's Creed Black Flag will be remade. Even though it came out in 2013, the first game in the series is still one of the most popular. Its pirate setting and likable main character, Edward Kenway, make it stand out.

A lot of people still think that Edward and Ezio Auditore are two of the best characters in the series because of their stories and moods. A remake of Black Flag could bring out the best in the naval battles, travel, and story if it uses new technology.

Ubisoft also hinted that more details about the Assassin's Creed live-action series that is being made for Netflix would be released soon. Movies based on video games have had mixed results, but now many big franchises are turning to live-action TV projects. Assassin's Creed is the newest of these.

The Assassin's Creed brand update shows that the series is changing, but it is still true to its roots. Several new projects are underway, Unity is running faster, and a remake of Black Flag is almost certain to happen. It looks like the series is entering a new phase. There may soon be a lot of reasons for people who have played Assassin's Creed before and people who have never played it before to go back.
