Bastion arrives on Mac today

By c_rake, Posted 29 Apr 2012

Good news, Mac users: Supergiant Games' Bastion, their debut game and critical darling, has officially made its way to Mac App Store for the low price of $14.99. So if you were using that as an excuse not to play it, well -- that won't work anymore. It will also arrive on Steam soon, according to the developer's site. No word yet on a Linux release (sorry, Linux users).

The game, which has previously been released on Xbox, PC, and Google Chrome, sees a young man known only as "the kid" traversing various broken slabs of land as he attempts to survive, and perhaps even fix, a world-shattering event known as the Calamity. Our own Daav Valentaten praised it for its smart use of narration and solid gameplay, which grants a variety of options to dispatch enemies and adjust difficulty.
