While rumours of a DX11 patch for Crysis 2 surfaced before the game was even released, Crytek has only just confirmed that the PC version of the 2011 shooter will indeed be upgraded to the latest graphical technology.
In a short message posted on the official Crysis forums, a Crytek employee confirms that the team is curently "working to get the best out of DX11", and that features will be announced later, when the yet to be announced release date is closer.
As such, it is not yet known when the patch will be available for download for PC aficionados, nor if the update will improve the graphics of Crysis 2 in a significant way. We'll be sure to keep you updated over at NoobFeed.

This was one of the few things I heard people complaining about when the game came out. Once the update is out there will be few complaints left.
I'll have to play the games some day.
The graphics in Crysis 2 might not be as insanely awesome as the first game, but they were far from disappointing.
Still, I'm upgrading my PC for Battlefield 3 later this year, and this might give me a reason to play through Crysis 2 again afterwards.
coffee beans for sure
