Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation Guide | Gacha System and Unlocking Characters

In Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation, the Gacha system plays a significant role in acquiring new swimsuits and unlocking new characters.

It might look like total luck, but knowing how Gacha pools work and the different types of them helps you make better choices and keep your resources from going to waste.

Types of Gacha

There are several Gacha categories, each offering different rewards and levels of exclusivity.

Trendy Set (Event Pool/Popular Pool): This limited-time pool includes event-exclusive SSR swimsuits.

These are available only during specific events, often providing enhanced stats, unique appearances, and powerful skills.

Once the event ends, the swimsuits typically disappear from the pool, making them highly valuable.

Venus Gacha (Regular Pool): This pool contains the standard SSR outfits for a set group of girls. As more players get them, these become common over time.

They are helpful at first, but as new swimsuits are designed explicitly for events, their value decreases.

Guest Point Gacha (Green Coins): This pool uses Guest Points to draw mostly low-level accessories.

While these items may seem minor, they still help by earning VIP Points and occasionally granting gifts or functional upgrades.

Unlocking Characters

You begin the game with two selectable characters. Additional girls are unlocked by obtaining their SSR swimsuits through the Trendy Set or Venus Gacha.

The earlier you get an SSR swimsuit, the sooner you can expand your roster and strengthen your team for challenge tournaments.

Draw Mechanics

Gacha draws can be performed as single pulls or in sets of 10. A 10-draw streak guarantees at least one SR or higher swimsuit, reducing the chances of walking away empty-handed.

When drawing, the results are determined on the server side. Even if your internet drops during the animation, the outcome is already decided once you initiate the pull, so no diamonds are wasted.

Responsible Drawing

The thrill of opening can be addictive, but it's essential to resist the temptation of overspending. 

Because event-only swimsuits have significant benefits, you should save your money and time for these events instead of using them all the time at the pool.

In the long run, things work out best when you wait and plan carefully.
