Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide | How To Unlock Alice Quest Walkthrough

Gameloft has been working hard to bring more characters into Disney Dreamlight Valley; with the free update called The Wonderland Whimsy, you are able to venture into Wonderland to welcome Alice and friends into their Valley.

These quests are made to feel just like the story we all know and love, meaning you'll get confused very quickly if they aren't quick to solve the puzzles.

In order to welcome Alice back home to the Valley, you'll need to go through a series of quests: The Wonders of Wonderland, The Queen's Maze, Teeny Tiny Problems, and Leaving Wonderland, finding different materials, items, and even chasing a white rabbit just like the movie.

This guide will explain how to complete each section of the quest and provide guidance through the twists and turns of Wonderland.

The Wonders of Wonderland Quest

First things first, you'll need to begin the questline by purchasing The Wonderland Realm door within the Dream Castle. This door can be found on the very top floor of the castle, right next to the Aladdin Realm door. You'll have to spend a total of 15,000 Dreamlight to open the door.

After purchasing the Realm door, it will shrink to a tiny size, and out will pop a white rabbit. You'll see the rabbit quickly run out of the door and toward the stairs of the Dream Castle. Merlin will then encourage you to go after it. It will be easy to follow, considering diamonds, hearts, clubs, and spades will show in a trail where the rabbit goes.

You'll chase the white rabbit around the Valley for a short bit, going through the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow, making some twists and turns along the way. Don't worry, though; the white rabbit pauses every so often, so you have a chance to catch up if they fall behind.

Once you have successfully followed the white rabbit through the Valley, you will be led to a rabbit hole where it will disappear. Before you follow the rabbit, you'll want to pick up the golden pocket watch right next to the hole because it will be needed later.

After falling into the rabbit hole, you'll be submerged in a pink abyss with all kinds of floating objects before you come out the other end within the Wonderland Realm, where you'll first meet Alice.

Talk To Alice and Follow Her

Once in the Wonderland Realm, you'll need to travel down the path and find Alice, who is waiting in the middle of a pathway intersection; you'll need to talk with her and then follow her.

As you try to follow Alice through the woods to the Queen Garden, you'll soon see her disappear within the pink fog. You'll find Cheshire Cat, who is hanging out within the big red tree - he will help guide you to Alice, but be careful; he will try to confuse you.

Find the Cheshire Cat's Smile

Cheshire Cat will tell you that "you can't find Alice unless you found him first." This will be the first set of scavenger hunts of the quest, as you'll have to search around the Realm for his smile.

Finding each smile, a total of 3, will require you to search through the Realm a bit, each one being found in a different place. Below is a list to better explain what to look out for.

• The first smile will be found on a bush next to an "Up" sign and a rock.
• The second smile can be found on a tree with a broken "This Way" sign on it.
• The third is found on a big gray rock.

After finding all three, return to Cheshire Cat, who will provide you with another list of things to find.

Find Ingredients To Make the Recipe of "Make More Time"

Once again, Cheshire Cat will send you on another scavenger hunt throughout the confusing woods of the Wonderland Realm. He will say, "You are out of time to find Alice" and this is when he will tell you that you can just make more of it, which makes it fit right in with the crazy things that happen in Wonderland.

Cheshire Cat will give a hint for the scavenger hunt on how to find all the ingredients required to make the recipe "More Time." The ingredients are throughout the Realm, disguised as other objects that will turn into chests once found.

Each object is a bright purple-ish-pink color, and once you walk up to it, you will be able to click on it, which will reveal the chest they were looking for. Inside, the chest will have one of the items on the list. Below is a list of each item you need and what they are disguised as.

• Butter: Found in a bush.
• Lemon: Found in a cut-down tree stump.
• Wonderland Salt, Sugar, and More Sugar: Found in logs and tree stumps. (If you find a key in one of the chests, hold on to it since you will need that for other Wonderland quests.)
• Timely Tea: Found in another bush.
• Jam: Can be found in a pair of rocks.

Now, it is time for you to make "More Time." Take all the ingredients back to Cheshire Cat, and he will tell you to "start from the beginning," which will require making Sweet Moment and Spicy Moment first. You will want to return to the beginning of the forest, where a cooking station can be found.

Below is the recipe for what to make.

• Sweet Moment: Add butter, jam, and lemon.
• Spicy Moment: Add Wonderland salt, Wonderland sugar, More Wonderland sugar, and Timely Tea.

Finally, you will need to combine both Sweet Moment and Spicy Moment with the golden pocket clock from earlier, and that will make "More Time." Consume it, and you can move on to the next step.

Time To Exit The Forest

Now, it is time to prepare to exit the forest. After consuming "More Time," return to Cheshire Cat, who will tell you to "follow the Mome Raths," which will lead you out of the forest. These are the colorful little flowers that have been around the forest this whole time; now, they will lead you to the way out by forming arrows.

You can run ahead if they choose to, without waiting for the flowers to move into arrows leading the way, but otherwise, they will help you get there.

Once you have followed the arrows all the way through, you will see a new pathway that will lead to an open tree portal that will finally take you to the Queen's Garden.

Go through the portal and exit the Wonderland Forest.

The Queen's Garden Maze Quest

It is time for another maze. This one will be a bit easier to make it through, as long as you don't get caught by the Queen's card guards. This will be one of the simpler tasks in the whole process, as you will just need to be perfect to keep out of the yellow-circled areas, which are where the card guards are currently looking for activity.

You will need to make it through different parts of the maze to activate four different heart levers in total. These will then open the gate for you to exit the maze.

After each lever is pulled, you can make your way to the big gate, which should be opened. The card guards at the gate won't try to harm you, and you'll be able to walk inside the garden to greet Alice and help with the next series of puzzles.

Passing through the gate and talking with Alice will start the next questline.

Teeny, Tiny Problems

Upon first walking into the Queen's Garden, you will see a tea party table, which can only be used for unbirthdays, right? However, it seems Alice has already shrunk down on the table, and she will soon request your help.

Alice will explain that she needs you to make perfume to help her grow big again. This will require you to locate a few more items, craft the perfume, and complete the upcoming tasks.

You will need to return to the forest - don't worry, interact with the purple mushroom next to the tea table to fast travel back without dealing with the card guards. Talk to Cheshire Cat; he will provide some riddles, but will explain that Alice needs a Contrary Perfume to return to normal size.

Fish Up Jar Of Hearts

The first thing on the list that you will need to get is A Jar of Hearts. You will need to return to the entrance to the Wonderland Realm, where you can find a pond to fish in.

You need to look near the door to the Realm. There, they will see some golden bubbles, which is where the jar of hearts can be found.

Help The Singing Flowers

Cheshire Cat will give the next riddle: "The flower chorus has lost its inspiration." You'll need to go back into the forest until they get to the big Singing Daffodil flowers with faces on them.

Once you have talked to the flowers, they will express that it hasn't rained recently, and it is too dry for them to sing. You will need to pull out their watering can and water them from there. Two bags of Discontented Seeds will appear after the flowers have been watered.

Time To Cheer Up A Blue Mushroom

The last one of Cheshire Cats riddles: "a mushroom that's feeling blue." This mushroom can be found close to the entrance of the Realm, and in order to cheer it up, you will just need to wear something categorized under blue.

Solve The Pencil Birds Riddles

Once again, we have more riddles to solve. You will need to speak with the Pencil Bird in order to complete these next few riddles. When coming back out from talking to the blue mushroom, the Pencil Bird won't be much further from that.

Below are the riddles the bird will give, along with their answers.

• "How many light pink stripes does the Cheshire Cat have on its tail?" - Answer: 6
• "What animal did you chase to get here?" - Answer: White Rabbit
• "What did the Mad Hatter and the March Hare celebrate at Alice's first tea party in Wonderland?" - Answer: An Unbirthday
• "How many playing-card guards did you meet in the Queen's Maze?" - Answer: Twelve
• "How many questions have I asked so far, including this one?" - Answer: Five questions

Head back to the entrance where the cooking station was, but go to the crafting table instead. Now, you will need to make the perfume for Alice. This will require you to mix a Jar of Heart Candies, two Bags of Discontented Seeds, Blue Mushrooms, and Wonderland Plague, and the Perfume will be crafted.

Click on the springy purple mushroom to head back to Alice and give her the perfume.

Take A Picture of the Tea Table

After the perfume is given to Alice, she becomes big again and begins explaining that she came to the Queen's Garden because she was holding woodland creatures in cages within the garden. She explains how she wants to recuse them, but the keys are hidden on the tea table. You will have to use the perfume on the table to shrink down and take a picture of the tea table for Alice.

After you take the photo on your camera for Alice, use the perfume again and talk with her. She will ask you to go around the Queen's Garden and collect the following items:

• Playing Cards
• Lost Marbles
• Lovely Dice

Go over and use the perfume again to shrink down, but first, make sure to add the items you collected to the table's inventory. Now, you'll be required to find a total of four keys.

Finding All Four Keys On The Tea Table

There are a total of four keys that you will have to find on the tea table, each one being in a different location, and some objects will have to be moved or even broken to successfully obtain all four.

First, you will need to collect tea cups and use their Dreamlight powers to move certain Cheshire Cat face cards to where they need to be. Once you reach the yellow teapot with cracks in the side, you will need to use your Pickaxe to make the hole in it bigger and fill the teacup. Then, they can grab The First Key.

The Second key can be found within a pile of sugar cubes, which you can melt down by using your watering can on top of it. Then, they can get the key out. The Third Key can be found on top of the blue tea cup. You will need to walk up a pathway of cards and will easily spot the key there.

The final and fourth one can be found on top of the big pink cupcake. Once again, you will need to use the cards to their advantage to reach the top of the cupcake, then pull out the shovel and use it to uncover the last key.

Head back to the perfume, use it to unshrink, and then talk to Alice. She will then ask you to free all the little critters from the Queen's cages. This will wrap up the Teeny, Tiny Problems questline, making it time for the fourth and final quest to welcome Alice back to the Valley.

Leaving Wonderland Quest

It is time to begin leaving Wonderland, but first, the Queen's Garden needs to be cleaned up. Alice will give you red paint, which you need to use to color in five of the rose bush trees that contain white roses. However, first, you will need to apply the red paint to the watering can and then "water" the red paint onto the roses.

There are glass plates over by the tea table that are shattered all over the group - you will need to clean these up before they can move on to the next part of the quest. In order to clean it up, you will need to stomp on it in order to get rid of it…seems like it wouldn't work, but somehow it does.

Lastly, you will need to "bury burrow holes." These will be little cracks in the group, and you just need to use your shovel to cover them up. The ground will be back to normal, so the Queen won't know a thing.

Now, Alice is finally ready to begin heading to Dreamlight Valley, but first, you will need to head back to Cheshire Cat using the purple bouncy mushroom. You will spawn back by Cheshire Cat, but this time, they will have Alice by their side.

Alice then asks Cheshire Cat how to get to the Valley, and he tells her that there is a door she might use, but that first, the mushrooms back at the entrance need to be turned on in the correct color sequence. He gives the hint of "a color for each of us" - blue and pink.

Then, the door will appear. However, it is tiny. Talk to Alice, and then she will tell you to water it to make it grow. Talk to Alice again, and then she will be ready to head to the Valley. Once there, you will need to spend 5,000 Star Coins to have their house built, and then they will officially be back home where they belong.

Alice will be sad that Cheshire Cat didn't follow her to the Valley, but if you go back to the Wonderland Realm, they can talk to him and then follow his pink glowing pawprints to the Realm door. Talk to Alice back in the Valley again, and the Leaving Wonderland quest will be completed, making Cheshire Cat's own quest ready to begin.
