A guide on how to unlock every trophy in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.

Game Guide by Rubaiyat Shihab on  Sep 27, 2025

This guide provides a roadmap for earning all trophies in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. The game is a visual novel where your choices determine the outcome. This guide will help you achieve 100% completion.

Before You Begin

A trophy called "Breakthrough" was previously glitched, preventing players from earning the platinum. This issue was resolved in a patch released on July 14, 2021. The platinum trophy is now obtainable.

You can use the skip tool to speed up playthroughs that you've already done. This feature can be turned on in the settings menu, but it won't be available when you first start playing.

Keep in mind that to get one souvenir, you have to finish a part of the story that takes place over the weekend without using the skip button.

A key part of the game is the poem minigame. Your word choices determine which character's story sequences you see. To achieve 100% completion, you must see all possible sequences.

Phase One: See All Three Endings

Your first goal is to complete the story and see all three endings. This will unlock several trophies and collect a large portion of the required collectibles. You should also write perfect poems for each character during this phase.

To see the "Normal" ending, play through the game blind once. You will reach the story's natural conclusion.

To see the "Good" ending, you have to see all of Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki's possible outcomes in a single save file. You save before the first poem minigame and then restart to play through each character's path, making choices that affect what happens when Sayori tells him she loves him.

To see the "Bad" ending, the process involves specific actions after a certain character's death. The solution contains spoilers.

Story Trophies

When you start the game for the second time, which starts Act 2, you'll get the "Start a New Game" award. The "Thank you" award is unlocked when you use the normal ending to finish the game for the first time. To get the "Ruin everything" award, you have to do something special with the game's files.

Phase Two: Complete the Side Stories

The second phase involves completing the Side Stories, which are new content in the Plus version. These are accessed from the virtual computer desktop. There are six two-part stories, plus a bonus story unlocked after completing the others.

If you have seen all three main endings, you will have access to all Side Stories. You can use the skip function to complete them quickly. Finishing all Side Stories unlocks the "Friendship and Literature" trophy.

Phase Three: 100% Completion

The final phase involves obtaining the remaining miscellaneous trophies and achieving 100% data collection.

Miscellaneous Trophies

The "Error" trophy is unlocked by setting a custom wallpaper on the virtual desktop. Access the desktop via the "Exit DDLC" option, open the "Pictures" folder, and select an image to set as your wallpaper.

The "No" trophy is unlocked by selecting "Exit DDLC" from the settings or main menu and then choosing "No" when asked to confirm.

The "Buy my mixtape" trophy requires you to spend a cumulative total of 20 minutes listening to music in the game's music player on the virtual desktop.

Reach 100% Completion

The "Breakthrough" trophy is awarded for achieving 100% data collection. Collectibles include Music, CGs, Backgrounds, Poems, Wallpapers, Promo Art, Sketches, and Secrets. You can check your progress in the "Data Collected" section of the settings menu on the virtual desktop.
