When the story moves you forward, it's easy to miss early progression items and side-goal pickups in the Sparta area.
Most of the important things to grab here are Supply Chests, Blood Coffers, and early goals like Never Caught Stealing and A Boy's Belongings. The best way to stay safe is to clear each room completely before moving on to the next screen.
Quick Way Through Sparta Without Going Back
To begin, move to the right at a steady pace and act like you're sweeping the first time. Go inside a building as soon as you see that it has an interior.
If a corridor looks like it might not be needed, take it before you go up or down a level. The way Sparta is set up at first makes you want to skip side rooms and then forget about them when you get to the next story beat.

Getting rid of the Never Caught Stealing Goal Early
Never Caught is easiest to steal when you play greedy in safe spots and careful in open lanes. If you see a chest behind a door or in a small building, get it right away.
This goal is basically a "don't walk past loot" test. If you keep picking up every obvious container as you go, you'll finish it naturally without needing to clean up later.
Vermilion Globe in Sparta
The Vermilion Globe is one of the most important things to pick up on your first pass because it shows that you are making progress in your exploration.
If you want to keep your map clean and your progress steady, you have to take every globe detour. It is usually put where the game wants you to look away from the main path for a second.

Artifacts from Sparta and why they are important
An artifact in Sparta is more than just a collectible. It is also a strong sign that you explored the area correctly. The key is to look in rooms that seem to have flavor.
An Artifact is often found in training areas, storage corners, and small dead ends. Most of the time, a room is holding something if there are no enemies and no clear way to go.

Don't Forget the Small Side Collectibles
Sparta also adds smaller types of collectibles that seem optional, but they add up quickly if you want to complete the game. People often forget these things because they don't look like "big loot."
If you see a path that only goes to one small pickup, go ahead and take it. The game shows you how to play the map by doing that.

A quick habit for cleaning up Sparta that saves time later
Before you leave Sparta, take one last mental walk through any doors you missed and any rooms you ran past while fighting. If you keep that habit here, it will last through the rest of Laconia and stop the "endgame cleanup pain" that Metroidvania-style maps love to make.
