Horizon Forbidden West Guide | Restless Weald Relic Ruin

This guide provides a step-by-step breakdown to efficiently complete Restless Weald Relic Ruin, unlock its hidden relic, and collect useful resources along the way. 

Solving this ruin rewards valuable experience, skill points, and progress toward obtaining the powerful Ancestor’s Return Shredder Gauntlet.

Before entering the ruins, check the southeast side to find metal numbers on the wall. The 9 is upside down, but when corrected, the numbers form 1923—a code needed later.

Next, go to the northeast side to find a railcar. Push it northeast past the switch, then activate the switch to change the track direction. Now, push the railcar southwest until it reaches the ruins, positioning it beneath a climbing hold. 

Use the railcar to jump up and climb onto the ledge. From here, cross the rope to the next platform and collect the key module.

Drop down and face southeast toward a ladder. Shoot the red latch with an arrow to release it, but before climbing, enter the room behind the ladder to scan a datapoint. After scanning, return to the ladder and climb onto the pillar just north of it. 

Maneuver around the pillar until positioned with a wall behind, then jump backward to grab onto it. Climb up, move across, and jump onto the ladder. At the next platform, another datapoint can be scanned near a locked door. Insert the key module and enter the code 1923 to unlock the door.

Jump through the opening and ride the zipline into the northeastern room. Inside, a Firegleam patch can be ignited to create an opening in the exterior wall. After the explosion, return outside and go back to the railcar. 

Pull it northeast past the switch again, then flip the switch to realign the tracks. Push the railcar toward the Firegleam opening, but stop before entering. First, climb onto the railcar to access the roof and collect a Greenshine Sliver.

Once collected, return to the railcar and push it inside. From here, climb onto it and navigate around the room to open a few chests and claim the White Relic Ornament. Completing this ruin grants 2 Skill Points and 5000 XP, bringing progress toward the legendary Ancestor’s Return Shredder Gauntlet.
