PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid's Curse Guide | How to Get True Endings

You have to do things in a certain order across different character chapters and timelines to get to the real ending of PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid's Curse. To avoid spoilers, you should finish the normal ending before trying these steps.

Preparing the Items

Your first step is to unlock the Natural Talent section for Sato Shiranami. Once that is done, go to Sato’s chapter called Point of Contact. Look around the environment until you see a hint about something catching the light behind you. 

This allows you to pick up the Keychain. After securing that item, move to Sato’s chapter titled Claim. You need to obtain the Tamatebako at the lighthouse by choosing specific dialogue options. Select Admit, then Please! I need it!, and finally tell the truth to get the box.

Linking the Timelines

After you have the Tamatebako, you must load your lowest save file, which contains the Memory of the Mermaid in PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid's Curse.

Once the save loads, click the back button in the top left corner to return to the main game. Head to the Minakuchi Residence and inspect the altar shelf. 

Because you loaded the mermaid's memory, you will now have the option to place an item inside the Tamatebako. Doing this reveals a message from Sobae in your log. The message tells you that you must call her four times, leaving at least three seconds between each call.

Reaching the True Ending

Exit back to the title screen. Look for the Mermaid on the right side of your screen and follow the instructions from the log by clicking her four times with the three-second gaps. 

If nothing happens, try loading your save again and returning to the title screen. When the Mermaid asks you a question, give the name Yuza Minakuchi as your answer. 

If you have done everything correctly, the Mermaid's Meat will show up inside the Tamatebako starting on the evening of August 7th in PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid's Curse.
