Songs of Silence Guide | How To Unlock Pip
The little knight errant that could
Game Guide by Arne on Nov 27, 2024
Pip is a young Knight Errant to be. An adorable NPC that is found adventuring through the world. You encounter him a lot, each requiring you to do a few tasks. It is hard to say if you need to do all of them to unlock him. However, it is better to do so anyway.
Chapter 1
He can be found southwest of Borin Fields. You can access this after you rescue the treacherous King Atran from Doran Citadel. Pip is interactable and stands south of Grunav Forest. You need to conquer Borin Fields to reach him.
Chapter 3
You can find him standing on the fields near New Ehrengard. He will ask you to explore Durlach Forest. This location is near the bottom-left corner of the map. Once you reach it, you’ll find him outside. Remember to interact with him before entering.
Chapter 5
He’s near Rubikant, right near the north of the Darl Ruins and Rubikant. You can find him in between the two, through a narrow path into the mountains. He’ll be at the end of the path, waiting for you. He will ask you to speak with Elder Vrahna. Elder Vrahna can be found in the Loherd Forest, which is near the southeast corner of the map. Once you speak with the Elder, Pip will be there outside.
Be careful; if you stumble upon Loherd Forest and kill Elder Vrahna, Pip will be upset, and you can’t complete his side quest.
Chapter 6
You can find Pip in the central area, near the southwest, right by Nachen Tower. Yet again, he will task you to find someone. This time, you have to go to the bottom left side of the map in the dark world and get to the Irden Sellswords. There, you will meet the Shunned. You ask them about the Singing Stone, the artifact Pip seeks. They ask you to kill the Forlom in Logar’s Pride. This location sits northeast of the same map.
There are a few variations depending on who you interact with first. If you speak with the people at Logar’s Pride instead of attacking them, the Shunned will call you cowards and refuse to say anything. Pip will appear after this.
If you have Meron in your company, Logar’s Pride will join you when you speak with them. This also means the Shunned are your enemy. But worry not; killing them will make Pip appear and speak with you.
Chapter 7
You have to go north, through the purgatory. On the other side, you will meet an injured Pip. After speaking with him, an enemy army will spawn. There’s no way to avoid fighting them. After that, head to the opposite side of where Pip was, basically towards the northeast. You will find the Singing Stone her.
Chapter 8
You have to speak with the folks at Dorfi of Korburg. It is the central area of the light map, west of Fernblich. Here, you will meet Pip.
If you do everything right and get the Singing Stone, Pip will join you. He will also immediately become available for skirmish mode or multiplayer.
