Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Guide | How to Get A City in Flames Ending

In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, there are six different endings that you can unlock. Each ending depends on how you interact with specific characters throughout the story. 

How to Unlock

A City in Flames ending represents the unfavorable path within Bloodlines 2 and is tied to a single major decision in the story. 

During the mission We Don’t Do Ghost Stories, you will meet Agent Baker. At this point, you are given two possible options: to turn Agent Baker into a vampire or to kill them in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.

Key Choice

To obtain the I.A.O. ending, you must kill Agent Baker during this mission. This action locks you permanently into this ending route regardless of any other choices made before or after.

Result

When you kill Agent Baker, the I.A.O. will keep attacking Seattle, which will be very bad for the city. This is the end of A City in Flames. Your choice would have ended Seattle's defense against the I.A.O.'s attacks in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
