Horizon Forbidden West Gets a New Story Trailer

Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most anticipated games of this year. With the game 1 month away a new trailer was released along with new screenshots providing a look at the game's story.

The trailer highlights that people are on the brink of death as the life energy of the surrounding flora and fauna are being drained by a mysterious plague. We learn of a rebel leader named Ragala killing everyone in her path and she's answering to someone providing troops, weapons, and the ability to control machines. This is highlighted to be Sylens but those who played the first game understand where he's getting this knowledge to build these weapons.

The trailer ends with showing off an AI that resembles GAIA and another new figure. Most likely another AI.

Horizon Forbidden West launches for PS4 and PS5 this February 18th.
