It looks like players of Pokemon Go will once again be able to participate in the Sustainability Week event, as this limited-time event returns to the mobile Pokemon catching game, after its Spring Into Spring event that took place a few weeks back. However, this year-round, the event will focus on the Bounsweet evolution line, as well as include plenty of shinies, eggs, and bonuses for players to experience.

You will be able to participate in the event from 20 April 2023, 10 AM Local Time to 26 April 2023, 8 PM Local Time. This event also marks the debut of the Bounsweet evolution line, the Gen 7 Grass-type evolution which includes Bounsweet, Steenee, and the elegant long-legged Tsareena. These sweet yet feisty grass-type pokemon will make an excellent addition to the game's ever-growing Pokedex, however, sadly to shiny hunters they cannot be shiny hunters just yet. Players will be able to evolve Bounsweet into Steenee with 25 Bounsweet candies and evolve Steenee into Tsareena with 100 Bounsweet candies. This is the only way to acquire Steenee and Tsareena as they currently cannot be caught in the wild.

Sustainability Week also brings a whole sleuth of bonuses that mainly focus on a player's buddy Pokemon. Buddy Pokemon will stay longer on the overworld map after and players will only have to walk half the distance with their buddy Pokemon. they've been fed treats. Depending on your buddy level of your buddy Pokemon, players can also expect to get gifts from their Pokemon. Players who have a buddy Pokemon with an Ultra Buddy Level or higher will receive souvenirs more frequently. While players with a buddy level of Great and higher will receive leaf-wrapped gifts, these special little parcels have a higher chance of containing useful items, such as both regular and silver Pinap berries.

Another thing coming with Sustainability Week is its unique set of Pokemon spawns. Players can expect to see more Pokemon themed around nature spawning, this time themed around the ocean in particular. It is also the return of Binacle, who also appeared in last year's Sustainability Week. Besides Binacle players can also encounter Pokemon such as Squirtle, Shellder, Wailmer, Drilbur, Cottonee, Petilil, Dwebble, Foongus, and finally Froakie.

And finally, players will also be able to snag some unique clothing and apparel themed around this year's Sustainability Week. Players will be able to strut their stuff in an adorable Bounsweet line themed outfit that comes in three pieces: A Bounsweet Hat, Steenee Shirt, and Tsareena Boots. This year's Sustainability Week certainly brings its own set of sweet rewards and is a great time for fans of grass and water-type Pokemon to get out there and start catching.
