For instance, combine armor with high lightning damage reduction and a seal or charm that increases stagger damage—this dual approach lets you both survive his strikes and build up stagger quickly. 

Master the Parry

Your primary tool against the Cleansing Knight is the parry. If you land three or four successful parries quickly, you’ll stagger him repeatedly and deal massive follow‑up damage. 

Focus on timing—watch for his attack wind‑ups and counter immediately to maximize stagger builds and minimize his window to retaliate. 

Facing the Second Stage

Once you’ve whittled him down to 50%, the Cleansing Knight enters a far more aggressive phase. His deadliest move is the soaring slam: he leaps into the air and crashes down on you. 

Parry this slam as soon as he lands to deal tremendous damage—timing here is even more critical than before. 

Upgrade Your Weapons

Don’t neglect your equipment’s potential. If you’re struggling to stagger or chip away his health, invest in weapon upgrades to boost base damage. A few extra levels can differentiate between a drawn‑out fight and a swift victory.

Positioning and Defense

Stay close to the Cleansing Knight to limit his range options—he’ll swap to slower, more parryable attacks when you’re in melee. 

Always be ready to parry or dodge, and ensure your gear protects against electricity. Staying aggressive and mobile prevents his fastest combos from ever getting started.
