Mortal Kombat 11 Box Art and Raiden Base Character Model Revealed

Mortal Kombat 11's hype train continues to blast through with NetherRealms revealing new images for both the cover art and Raiden for the upcoming game.

Raiden has been a staple within the franchise since the franchise's debut back in the 90s and the Thunder God is back once again to showcase his godly skills. The model definitely pays tribute to the original while maintaining a modern look, with his iconic glowing eyes but more varied coloration instead of the all-white look.

In addition, unsurprisingly Scorpion will be featured as the cover fighter for Mortal Komba 11 but we can hope that we'll get a reversible cover featuring Sub-Zero on the back. At least, I hope so.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23, 2019. A reveal event is scheduled for January 17th.
