Ronda Rousey Will Be Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11

Yesterday, WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey confirmed she would be attending the Mortal Kombat 11 basically confirming the rumors she would be taking on the role of Sonya Blade. Today, during the event, it was officially confirmed.

“Sonya Blade was the first kickass girl I saw come on to the scene and I’ve always admired her,” said Rousey in the Sonya Blade reveal video. “I, admittedly, kind of emulated her in my own way and now I get to try and be her.”

The trailer featuring the news also gives us details into Sonya Blade's combat style and brutal attacks.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases on April 23 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The beta begins this March 28th.
