Now Deleted Kingdom Hearts III ReMIND Trailer Reveals the Return of Final Fantasy Characters
Final Fantasy is officially back in the Kingdom Hearts universe
News by Grayshadow on Dec 07, 2019
When Kingdom Hearts III was in development Square Enix confirmed that there would be no Final Fantasy characters in the game to place more focus on the original cast. Despite that, a heavy focus was put on the various Disney characters such as newcomers Frozen and Big Hero Six. And that the Final Fantasy characters such as Cloud and Leon played a massive role in the game's core narrative. However, they're back in the upcoming DLC ReMIND.
The new now deleted trailer provides a look into the game's DLC launching new keyblades, a fast track east mode to defeat enemies in 1-hit (Narrative mode basically), new super boss, and the ability to play as Kiari. The trailer has been deleted but showed Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith in the trailer. The room shown will be familiar to Kingdom Hearts fans. It's the room Leon took you after your battle with him. It's likely this is just a memory that would fit the name of ReMIND.
Unfortunately, Xbox One users will have to wait a bit longer to play the DLC. With it launching on PS4 on January 23rd and Xbox One on February 25th.
Kingdom Hearts III is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.
