Gamescom is happening and one of the first announcements to come out of it regards the beloved strategy series, Age Of Empires. The fourth installment was announced and is being developed by none other than Relic Entertainment. We were only treated to an Age Of Empires IV Announcement Trailer, which showcased art covering historical periods known to people who've played past titles. Regardless, as someone whose interest in RTS was pretty much shaped by the series, I'm fairly excited to hear we're getting another proper entry in the series.

On top of that, we now know that Age Of Empires: Definitive Edition will be available on October 19th, 2017. A beta for the title is scheduled to begin today.  We'll also get Definitive Editions for Age Of Empires II and III with details on those coming sometime in the future. You can have a look at the wrap-up to see some of the original features that made it into Age Of Empires: Definitive Edition.

We also spent some time with Relic Entertainment's latest title. Check out our Warhammer 40000: Dawn Of War III Review.
