In the Astray quest of Assassin's Creed: Shadows, you'll find a young recruit while looking for the Ox's invasion plans. This moment has two dialogue choices with different tones but the same outcome.

Here is the guide on dialogue choice during the Astray quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows:

Assassin's Creed Shadows Guide, You Shouldn't Have Attacked Me, or I Won't Hurt You Choice

Option 1: "You Shouldn't Have Attacked Me"

Choose this, and Naoe will be strict, threatening the recruit that she would have killed him if she had taken him seriously. The line is menacing, but she'll restrain herself. The recruit apologizes and gives you the information, and then Naoe lets her go. The mission is smooth.

Option 2: "I Won't Hurt You"

This is because Naoe is kind. She won't hurt him and understands he's innocent and young. The recruit relaxes, thanks her, and warns her not to delay because his commanding officers will punish him. He then gives her the information she needs to proceed.

Both options have the same outcome—you save the recruit and get the information. The difference is how you portray Naoe: strict, bossy, cool, and sympathetic. The timing allows for personalization without changing the mission progress.
