ARC Raiders now has the Shrouded Sky update. A big change has been made since the game's start, and the full 1.17.0 title update brings it. It changed how you play, added a lot of new content, made quality of life better, balanced guns, updated maps, and made it harder to cheat. The patch went live on February 24. Before anyone can play, they all need to download the big update.

This update changes both the arena and the way you grow as a player in general. The main thing is the new storm map state. This is a very dangerous and chaotic natural threat that changes the rules in a big way. If you're moving with the wind, it can speed you up. If you're moving against the wind, it can slow you down and tire you out.

Debris in the air lights up shields and breaks them down slowly, so you have to plan ahead and sometimes take your shield off outside.

Storms aren't just for fun; they change where people are, how fast they move, and how they stay alive in big ways. With the storm comes a new long-term project that will be based on a way to keep an eye on the weather. Everyone was caught off guard by the storm that appeared out of nowhere. Right now, we're gathering things to make better tools for predicting the future that will keep mistakes from happening.

This goal changes every few weeks, which makes everyone feel like they are remaking and getting ready. The ARC now poses two more threats. The Firefly can burn through your radar with its flame jets as soon as you move or hide. It's a secure machine that floats. Being slow is punished by being moved like a fireball.

The Comet, on the other hand, stays quiet until it sees a thief. When it locks on, it gets very close and focused before blasting with a huge bang, so being too close is a terrible idea. Both threats make the fight more interesting and make you more aware of what's going on around you. It's also simpler to change.

As you play, the best reward for getting a new free Raider Deck is an outfit with a surgeon theme that you can finally get. Finally, you can add facial hair to your character to make them more special. You can get stubble right away for everyone, and you can use the surgery deck to get a full beard. There are now more options in the store, like a thick mustache and a full beard.

When the update came out, the Velour set came out too.

The devotees' set will be here soon. The Dam Battlegrounds map is now much bigger because a new high-security area has been added. This locked area has useful things and a fresh place to explore. There are special Rocketeer chandeliers that will help you find it. Risk-reward adventures and stories about the world around us are still big parts of making the game.

Making changes to the guns is a big part of the patch. After some changes, shadow buffs were added to some guns, and the rate at which they fire was changed by accident. The 1.17.0 patch fixed these bugs and also fixed the problem that low-tier weapons didn't work as well as higher-tier ones, which was a worry of the community.

The Stitcher's base damage and kill ratio go down, but the damage it does per shot spreads out more. This makes it take longer to kill a nearby enemy. It has also lost some of its base power, which will help it stand out more against other close-range weapons. The Ventor will not be too strong in PvP if its base damage is lowered and its hit ratio is changed.

What about Jupiter? It has better ADS precision and faster equip and unequip times, which makes it better for long range. It's now easier to aim with the Aphilion; it reloads faster, and it takes less time between shots. All of these changes make it a better legendary weapon for PvP. The goal of this change is to find a balance between being able to adapt and doing well based on skills.

A lot of things change when you change the market and art.

The Energy Clip can now be found on the desk by default. Changes have been made to the values and crafting costs of many items, such as the Deadline, Trailblazer, Wolfpack, Vita Spray, and Showstopper. These things often need new ARC components. It changes how resources are handled in general when ARC parts are sold because they lose value.

On almost every machine, bugs have been fixed, and the game is now better to play. The world now has a piano that can be played. You can reroll feats for free up to three times a day, but there are no longer any PvP feats. Now you can't put mines or traps on deployables, connect zip lines to things you can take, or stand on bombs.

The aim is to help players now see more types of enemies. A lot of changes to the vaulting, better lighting, and less stuttering in the audio can be made to improve it in terms of motion, sound, and sight. Certain changes to the maps fix collision issues, make the lighting better, speed up the rate at which rare things spawn, and stop exploits that happen outside of Buried City, Salamontis, and Blue Gate.

The way the moves work has changed. For example, problems with slides and ladder jumps are fixed. It is now easier to use the social features, manage your inventory, keep track of your tasks, and find matches thanks to changes to the user interface. It is now possible for players to hide all friend requests, and on some systems, problem messages are now easier to understand.

It's helpful that there are now shaker instruments and quick-slot support for pop triggers and spotter relays.

So that people don't abuse it, the Vita Spray now heals all the time while it's being used. Stronger steps are taken to stop cheating with this change. A lot of different layers of detection work together to find unfair play. Behavioral analysis, gameplay data, and machine learning are some of these layers.

Now, major offenses get you banned right away and for good. Less serious offenses might get you suspended for a while and give you one chance to make things right. Families who share have stricter rules because of abuse, and a way to review ban requests by hand is being worked on.

There are big and small changes that the Shrouded Sky update makes to the game. It includes new enemies, storm chaos, more ways to make your character unique, better weapon balance, and stricter rules. As you step back into the storm, there is more adventure, danger, and life on the battlefield than ever before.
