Stunlock Studios may be a name that tells you something if you've heard of or played a little game called Bloodline Champions. That same studio has just released its new team arena brawler, Battlerite, on Early Access. Claiming that the game is in final developement stages, buying into it now will let you play with a well-balanced roster of champions, with more to come. A progression system is in place alongside a complete tutorial, practice matches and 2v2 or 3v3 matches against either AI or real players. There are even some vanity items to be unlocked, judging by the game's Steam page.
Battlerite is available on Steam Early Access for 19,99 euros or your regional equivalent. It's worth noting that the full version will be free-to-play with added microtransactions. Buying into Early Access will grant you the current champions and all future champions alongside a founder avatar and title. The studio is aiming for an early 2017 release date.
