Bayonetta 4 is Already Confirmed
Bayonetta 4 has already been confirmed by Hideki Kamiya only weeks after the release of Bayonetta 3, and he confirmed it on Twitter.

It has been a few weeks since Bayonetta 3 released, and since there was such a lengthy wait between the second and third games, it was likely that no one expected another one for a while, but that isn’t what’s happened. Instead, Hideki Kamiya, the Vice-President of PlantinumGames, dropped an announcement out of nowhere.
Hideki Kamiya announced the news seemingly at random in a tweet, and said, in response to certain criticisms of the ending of Bayonetta 3: “It seems that the ending of Bayo 3 wasn't conveyed correctly to everyone, so I think Bayo 4 will be an unexpected development for everyone.” No real fanfare or big announcement, he simply stated that the game will exist. This is a very strange way to announce any big-budget game.
There’s no news other than this, but the strange way in which such a big franchise was announced is very peculiar. In a subsequent tweet, he also said that those who didn’t like the third game shouldn’t play any of the later games, but the auto-translate functionality on Twitter leaves something to be desired, as it uses the expression “maddened poisonous radio transmitter” to describe those who dislike the third game, and that is a very strange way to discuss your critics.
Either way, to the people who enjoyed Bayonetta 3, the announcement of a follow-up so shortly after launch should be cause for excitement. However, as it has only been a few weeks since the release of the latest game in the franchise, no one should expect anything concrete for a few years. At the earliest, there may be a sliver of news in a few months, but games take a long time to make. So, don’t expect Bayonetta 4 to be right around the corner. We’re going to be in for a bit of a wait.
