Devil May Cry 5 Will Expand on Nero's Romance with Kyrie

Since Devil May Cry 4 fans have been waiting for the long-awaited sequel. Now that Devil May Cry 5 has been confirmed fans are seeking for details about the game. Thanks to ResetEra and user Sesha for the translation we now know that the game has been in development for 4 years, will follow the same mission structure and focus on Nero.

Director Hideaki Itsuno stated that the hidden character on the box art will be revealed at a later date, including why this person doesn't carry any weapons. The trailer shows the same figure throwing Nero and taking possession of what appears to be his Devil Arm, forcing the young hunter to replace it with a mechanical one.

In addition, Nero's love interest Kyrie will be part of the story. Despite not appearing in the trailer but Nero calling out her name something might have happened. Considering that Nero has been confirmed to be the son of Vergil and Sparta's family history usually has loved ones dying it can be assumed that Kyrie is dead or maybe not.

Devil May Cry 5 is scheduled to release by Spring 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
