Players purchase over $5 million dollars worth of microtransactions in Fallout Shelter

Bethesda’s free-to-play Fallout themed title, Fallout Shelter, has made $5.1 million. This only after two weeks after the game’s release.
Fallout Shelter was first announced at E3 2015 during Bethesda’s press conference when Fallout 4 was officially revealed. The game was released after the press conference in anticipation for Fallout 4’s release. The game has players managing their own vaults, attempting to build their community of dwellings by accomplishing a series of goals. Players can choose to purchase lunchboxes to fill up on useful items. Apparently players are dedicated enough to purchase over $5 million dollars worth, and this is before the game releases on Android next month.
Fallout 4 is set to release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 10.
