New Among Us Airship Map Deploys March 31

Innersloth has announced that the latest map will come to Among Us on March 31st. The Airship map will be larger than any of the other existing maps, and feature brand new tasks for crew members. Players will have the option of selecting their starting room instead of everyone being in the cafeteria. Additionally, maps will have ladders to get around. The map was originally meant to release earlier, but the explosive popularity of Among Us was unexpected by even Innersloth. The team prioritized increasing stability for the existing content before expanding the game further.

 

On the same day, Among Us will feature a new account system. This system will allow for basic moderation and ensure privacy. The team hopes this will decrease toxicity and harassment in the player community. Innersloth has also stated that while the development team remains small, it is partnering with other groups to help out. This was one of the reasons the Switch version was able to release smoothly.
