Nioh 2 Gets Photo Mode and New Missions Today

Today new content is available for Nioh 2 that adds Photo mode to the samurai title. In addition, Team Ninja has provided new information about the first of 3 DLCs coming to the game.

Players can now craft intricate photos with the game's various filters and options. If you're looking for new gameplay content players can now take part in 9 new missions. 

The developers are planning to release 3 pieces of DLC over the course of months that include new story content, yokai, armor, skills, boss fights, weapon, and Guardian Spirits. With a new difficulty option coming along with more end-game content.

The first DLC will be called "The Tengu's Disciple" and will release this July 30th and new wallpapers are available that highlight the upcoming DLC. Team Ninja also provided new information about upcoming story content.

A great battle has taken place at Yashima in the late Heian period. As a visitor in Yashima, our protagonist finds a shrine possessing a mysterious whistle called the Sohayamaru. Upon inspection, the whistle shines radiantly as the shadow of Yokai can be seen lurking in the background. It is revealed that whenever wars take place, heroes wielding the Sohayamaru will head into battle in order to restore peace back into this land.

Nioh 2 is now available for PS4.
