No New Burnout Game Planned

Criterion games is currently busy working on Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR Mission so don't expect a new Burnout game for a while.

Criterion Games broke the news on Twitter to fans hoping that a new installment was in development. Instead the studio made promises that they plan to make Burnout Paradise backwards compatible with Xbox one soon.

The founders of Criterion Games, Fiona Sperry and Alex Ward, are currently working on Dangerous Golf at their new studio Three Fields Entertainment. That's probably the closest we'll get to a Burnout game in a long time.

Interesting fact, Burnout Paradise was actually the first game featured on Achievement Hunter.
