Pathfinder Kingmaker Gets Official Turn Based Mode For Console Release
Owlcat will also update the PC version with new features

Pathfinder Kingmaker launched on the PC near the end of 2018. While many players found the game faithful to Paizo’s pen and paper role playing game system, it was rife with bugs and exploits. Thankfully, developer Owlcat has continually updated the game with free patches and downloadable content.
Recently, Owlcat showcased a console port of Kingmaker for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It includes all of the previous PC updates and DLC, along with additional features. The main one of interest was an official turn based mode. The original PC game could only be played in real time (with pausing), and the fan community eventually created mods that fully simulated pen and paper rules and dice rolling.
Owlcat’s turn mode can be toggled on and off very easily with a single button press. It also has a full user interface displaying action success rates, damage bonuses and areas of effect. The mode will be included in console versions, and the PC version will receive a free update when the former release in August.
Due to the intense system performance of Pathfinder Kingmaker, it is advised to play the game on PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X, if possible.
