Planet Zoo and Its Lifelike Animals Arrive Early Next Month
Planet Zoo lets you tweak and manage everything from finances to building habitats piece by piece.

Planet Zoo and its plethora of lifelike animals are less than three weeks away. The second entry in the Planet series, following the successful Planet Coaster, aims to scratch an itch few other games currently succeed in doing.
Channeling the energy of zoo management sims of old while modernizing the recipe quite a bit, Planet Zoo lets you take care of every aspect of your zoo. You'll have to deal with its finances, just like you'll find yourself customizing habitats by placing individual pieces, digging lakes, raising rivers and creating caves, depending on the different animals' needs.
The stars of the show in Planet Zoo are, naturally, the "authentic living animals who think, feel and explore the world you create around them". From zebras to lions, aardvarks and beyond, the rich roster of animals will pose different challenges as players try to meet their requests while keeping them happy. The effort's well worth it, though. Care for your animals well enough and it won't be long until they'll birth offspring.
Seeing happy animals roam around in properly built habitats will also impress the people visiting your zoo. If the attention of virtual folk isn't enough, Planet Zoo lets you share your habitats, and even your entire zoo, with others through the Steam Workshop. As far as modes go, the title will feature both a campaign that takes you all across the world, as well as a Sandbox mode.
Planet Zoo is slated to launch on November 5 on PC and is currently available for pre-order. Check it out in action in its latest trailer.
