The popular tower-defense game returns with a sequel

In 2009 Plants vs.Zombies was released for the PC and Mac. It became so popular that it spread to the Xbox Live Marketplace, Sony Entertainment Network and Nintendo DS. Now PopCap has announced the sequel, Plants vs. Zombies 2, which will launch in July 2013.
The teaser trailer doesn’t have any gameplay footage, but you can assume that the plant tower defense mechanics will return with new additions.
