After so many rumors and leaks, Nintendo has confirmed Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu And Let's Go Eevee. Releasing this November 16th for Nintendo Switch this will be the first Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch and feature Pokemon Go support.
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu And Let's Go Eevee is being marketed as a Pokemon game for newcomers and veterans, sounds like Final Fantasy XV's slogan, and will be set in the Kanto region. Depending on which version you buy you'll start with either Pikachu or Eevee, similar to the starting set in Pokemon Yellow. In addition, Eevee and Pikachu will follow you during the adventure instead of remaining in the Pokeball.
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu And Let's Go Eevee will feature Pokemon Go support. Allowing players to capture Pokemon using the same mechanics found in the mobile game and allow players to capture Pokemon transferred from the mobile title into the Let's Go games.
You cannot transfer Pokemon from the Switch games to the mobile title but you can send gifts which haven't been detailed yet.
Like previous games Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu And Let's Go Eevee will feature turn-based combat and feature the first 151 Pokemon along with their Alolan forms from Sun and Moon.
A new controller called the Poke Ball Plus was also shown which will be sold separately. It works like the Joy-Con but in the shape of a Pokeball. Using motion sensors it can be "thrown" to capture Pokemon in the game.
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu And Let's Go Eevee launches on November 16 for Nintendo Switch.
