Expect a lot of new content from Sea of Thieves

Microsoft's next big exclusive is Sea of Thieves but Rare is sharing a longterm content update for the game right now.
Development roadmaps have been a popular addition to keep fans updated with future expected content updates. It's been used by Bungie for Destiny 2 and Bluehole Studios for PUBG. However, Rare is keeping their roadmap a secret.
When asked about a roadmap during a recent AMA on Reddit, the game’s executive producer Joe Neate said
“I think we’re only ever likely to cover a few months ahead to maintain mystery.”
“Things will change as Sea of Thieves evolves. We want to have the time to reveal what the features mean for players before we put them in their hands. We’ve taken a show not tell policy for the entire project so far and we’re committed to that.”
This confirms that Sea of Thieves will be getting additional content in the future. For those looking to purchase a new Xbox One X Microsoft is offering a free copy of the game until March 24th.
Sea of Thieves sets sail on March 20 for PC and Xbox One.
