During a quarterly financial conference call at EA Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson discussed plans for the next Star Wars Battlefront game, that's confirmed for this Holiday season.
Wilson explained that the game will take players to more locations and play as more heroes across "Multiple Star Wars eras." Also promised was more gameplay elements such as a single player campaign. More information was promised in the upcoming months.
The fist Battlefront faced a lot of criticism regarding the lack of everything mentioned during the conference call. It looks like EA was listening and plans to make the second game better in almost every way.
The game is being developed by DICE, the people behind Battlefield, and Criterion, known for Burnout and Need for Speed. It's possible that we'll see a lot more gameplay at this year's E3.
