System Shock Demo Now Available on Steam and GOG

Today is a huge day for fans of System Shock. Developer Nightdive Studios has a new demo available for the remastered version of the game on both GOG.com and Steam. 

The demo will provide a look at the Medical Wing of the game. I had the chance to play the demo and there are a few things you should know. First, there are no checkpoints or saves. If you die that's it. In addition, manage your resources and don't be afraid to use this surgical table to recover health.

To celebrate the release of the demo today, Nightdive CEO, Stephen Kick, will be giving a live full walkthrough of the System Shock demo on Shacknews’ twitch channel and will host a thirty-minute Q&A after. The live stream will begin at 9 AM Pacific Time today, May 27.

System Shock is now in development for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
