Square Enix Drops More Updates on Kingdom Hearts 4 and Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3

Square Enix has given us a rare look at how two of its most highly anticipated projects, Kingdom Hearts 4 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, are coming along. Sources say that both games are on track to be released on time, which is a significant relief for fans who have been waiting for years without any news or rumors.

Square Enix said during a recent Final Fantasy Ever Crisis stream that work on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is moving along well. The company stressed that not only has work been moving forward, but they have also chosen the timing for the official announcement.

The studio has informed fans that they are sticking to their desired schedule and asked them to be patient a little longer, although they won't specify when it will be completed. Kingdom Hearts 4 was mentioned as a project that was "making great strides" on the other side. People were cautiously hopeful about this update because the franchise is known for long waits between major releases.

It's hard to believe that there was a 14-year gap between Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3. There have been several spin-off games that filled that gap, but the mainline games have always tried the patience of the fans. Now that progress has been made, there is hope that the wait for the fourth chapter won't turn into another ten-year saga.

The situation for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 looks clearer. Developers pointed out that much of the foundation has already been laid thanks to assets and systems developed for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.  Also, the story is already planned out, which cuts down on the time needed to write it. 

Compared to Parts 1 and 2, which took longer to make, this gives Part 3 an advantage. Industry insiders suggest that this could mean the last part of the trilogy comes out much sooner than most people think. However, it is unlikely that it will come out right away.

The studio's plan for Part 3 shows that there will be a more efficient process for making big-budget games. Square Enix seems determined to close the gap and give fans what they want more quickly, instead of letting years go by between entries. This change not only makes players happy, but it also benefits the company financially by reducing production costs and maintaining community engagement.

On the other hand, Kingdom Hearts 4 is still a mystery. Square Enix says the game is on track, but fans have learned not to get their hopes up.
