Civilization V: Brave New World Now Available

2K and Firaxis Games have announced that the second expansion pack for Sid Meier's Civilization V is now available. Civilization V: Brave New World brings new gameplay elements, introducing international trade and a focus on culture and diplomacy.

These new features provide fans with more ways to play the game, with Sid Meier saying, “Civilization V: Brave New World epitomizes how the Civilization series continues to grow and evolve. We’re constantly looking at ways for fans to have completely new experiences playing Civ, and now there are even more ways to achieve world domination than ever before.”

Included in Brave New World are nine new civilizations, eight new wonders, two new game scenarios, and a new culture victory. The expansion features a new World Congress that vote on critical issues - making for a more compelling ending, and International Trade Routes for building cities into the center of international trade. Advance your own city through International Trade Routes while spreading religion, science, and cultural influence to others.

Civilization V: Brave New World is now available in North America for Windows and Mac and is available internationally on July 12th.
