Investigate the House: Find 10 Clues

When you enter the house, your first task is to locate ten clues. These environmental details and evidence pieces are essential; without them, you cannot progress to the final discovery. 

Go through the Living Room and the areas next to it very carefully. Touch any items that are important and make sure you look at every clue that you can. This sets the stage for the next important step, which is putting together what happened.

Reconstruct the Murder

After collecting all clues, reconstruct the murder from the victim’s body. The correct sequence matters. The victim attempted to strike the Android with a Baseball Bat, and the Android responded by trying to stab the victim with a Knife. 

The confrontation took place in the Living Room. Keeping this order and location straight is pivotal for what follows, as your reconstruction directly informs the conversation with Hank.

Explain the Events to Hank

Once the reconstruction is complete, you will explain how events unfolded to Hank. Make the selections that reflect the accurate chain of events: the victim tried hitting the Android with a Baseball Bat; the Android tried stabbing the victim with a Knife; and it all happened in the Living Room. These choices are not difficult, but precision is required to unlock the next phase of the investigation.

Access the Attic and Confront the Deviant

You will be able to go up to the Attic once your story to Hank is right. Find a chair and use it to get up. Then, keep going through the room until you reach the Deviant. Focus on the task at hand and move slowly; the way is clear once entry is granted.

How You Can Fail (and How to Avoid It)

Failure typically stems from two causes. You may take far too long—while the time limit is generous, lingering aimlessly can still cost the discovery. 

Alternatively, you may completely misdescribe the events when speaking with Hank, which prevents access to the Attic. By keeping the fight details and location straight, and by moving efficiently, you avoid both pitfalls.
