This is the most common outcome when controlling Connor. If you miss a single QTE while holding the gun, Connor wins, and Markus is defeated.

Outcome 6: Connor Wins, Control Markus

There are several ways to lose to Connor when controlling Markus. One such method is failing all the QTEs while Connor holds the gun, resulting in Markus's death.
