Designed by Dutch developer Guerrilla Games, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is an original open-world role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic universe. Integrating its content into the existing game world, Guerrilla's expansion is a more traditional add-on pack. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can access the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Frozen Wilds DLC.

To be able to start the Frozen Wilds DLC, you don’t need to finish the original campaign, but you will need to be at least level 30 – although we recommend you be higher than level 50 – and approach one of the following tribespersons.

First, there's Rhavid, a Carja noble living outside Meridian. Fast travel to the Meridian Gate and follow the path to the Way of the Broken Stones, a series of bridges that lead into the city. Walk all the way back up until you pass the first bridge. He will inform you about these borders.

Next, Ohtur in the Carja settlement. Fast travel to the Daytower Fort, and just as you enter, look to the right to find this merchant. Talk to him, and you'll get directions to the Cut.

Finally, there's Yariki, a Banuk woman who lives at the Grave-Hoard just outside the Frozen Wilds territory. Because you can't fast travel there, go to the Banuk encampment to the left of it and then head northeast until you find her. She will warn you about the dangers of traveling farther north.

And that’s it! You are good to go to the frozen wilderness and help Aloy solve the mystery of a new threat that’s putting the Banuk tribe in danger.
